Added 2020-10-05 17:35:52 +0000 UTCI watched Nightmare on Elm Street and Halloween last night. LOVED THEM BOTH but omg Halloween might be my favorite so far. I can't decide between The Thing and Halloween. I was very nervous to watch Nightmare because the idea that you get murdered in your sleep fucked me up too much. hahah fortunately the movie, while scary, didn't get me as bad as I thought it would. I still think older horror movies don't scare me as much because it doesn't look as "real" as modern movies. The shots in that movie were fantastic. I thought it was really fun and enjoyable. I also loved the mindfuck of not being able to sleep and the psychological aspect of that. BUT LETS TALK ABOUT HALLOWEEN. I literally was ready to start the next halloween when it was over. I loved it. I got the heebie jeeebies and sticky up neck hairs. It creeped me out so hard. But wasn't "terrifying" you know? I loved Halloween and I would watch it over and over again. MAYBE I LIKE HORROR MOVIES?!?!?!?!!
